Can people please give me info. on navel piercing?

0k, my older sister is taking me and a friend to get our navel pierced; the thing is I want to know what Im getting into before I get it done. I want to know whats they smart jewlery to get when I first get it done, how much they cost (average), about how long it takes to heal, and is it just a stupid idea (lol). Please let me know.
PS: Im 15 && my friend is 14 turning 15.
